Hi!
I want to use my cellular phone Siemens S25 via IRDA. For example to
uplaod ringtones, logos and also to edit phonebook-entries, the organizer,
sending SMS... Furthermore I want to use the internal modem of the phone
als /dev/XYZ, so that I can use it like an ordinary modem under linux.
Hardware:
-S25
-Tekram IRmate 210B (serial IR dongle, connected to com1,/dev/ttyS0)
Software:
-RedHat6.0 with Kernel 2.2.12, patch-irda3
-irda-utils 0.9.4
Here my configuration:
in /etc/conf.modules:

modprobe tekram
irmanager -d 1
irattach /dev/ttyS0 -d tekram

i created the device /dev/irnine how it was described in the HOWTO, but
even after a "modprobe irport" i cannnot access the /dev/irnine (internal
phone-modem) via minicom for example. How can I make it work?!?
annother problem is, that I cannot compile GNOBEX...
