Its char major 161

I have it working on an Toshiba Tecra 8000 and on my ThinkPad 390
(Quite different Toshiba -> Toshoboe and the ThinkPad uses irtty on
second tty)

Do it step by step - Get your irda working (irmanager -d 1, irattach /dev/ttySx)
etc. Then have a look at the /proc/net/irda/discovery if you find something
like this ...

(flo@paradigm)~# cat /proc/net/irda/discovery
IrLMP: Discovery log:

nickname: SIEMENS S25, hint: 0x9024, saddr: 0x4286ce23, daddr: 0x04295741

Now load ircomm and ircomm-tty and normally(tm) you should be able
to connect to the correct /dev/ircomm and you can easily dial
and load/backup the phonebook etc ...

I am in the beginning of writing simple applications (shell) to
backup the phonebook (I have something working with cu and expect but
its very ugly) ...

I am currently getting my email over the S25 via native UUCP on
/dev/ircomm

Flo
PS: The only problem now is that i broke my Antenna of the S25 by sitting
on it - And now i lost it (The half working Antenna) :(
PPS: I had a couple of problems with the Toshiba and ircomm when
writing the Phonebook back. It seems that large strings get
purged on write so i multiple times got an ERROR instead OK.
Writing char by char solved the problem ...
