Hi,

I've just shipped this patch over to Alan. If you want to try it out, you
should remember that you _must_ do "ifconfig irda0 up/down" yourself, since
the kernel cannot do this by itself any longer, and I haven't had time to
fix irattach yet.

You'll find the patch at:

        http://www.cs.uit.no/linux-irda/snapshots

Changes:

o Removed ANSI C violation in linux/irda.h, since this file will be used by
  user-space applications

o Fixed bug which made the machine crash if it received an IrDA frame after
the device was created, but before "ifconfig up" was done.

o Fixed get_sock_opt in af_irda.c, so it will handle the amount of buffer
given by the applications in a correct way (value/result).

o Fixed MTU bug, which made the IrDA stack send out frames with max data
that was 2 bytes shorter than what is possible.

o Fixed bug which prevented incomming connections

PS. The latest 2.3.18ac series contains some bug-fixes to IrCOMM, so it
could be worth a try if you have problems with IrCOMM.
