My Sony Vaio F-270 can print on a HP 5MP using SuSE 6.2 with the kernel
updated to 2.2.12 and patched with patch-2.2.12-irda3. I use the
following to start IrDA:
# setserial /dev/ttyS2 irq 10 port 0x03e8
# irmanager -d 1
I have to set the following links:
rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 161, 0 Okt 14 17:28 /dev/ircomm0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 161, 1 Okt 14 17:28 /dev/ircomm1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 161, 16 Okt 14 19:28 /dev/irlpt0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 161, 17 Okt 14 17:28 /dev/irlpt1
