you do not need support for irda in your kernel, just turn on the option in
BIOS to emulate COMx on IR and you are on your own, just instruct gnokii to
use infrared connection via the emulated COM port. Read also
gnokii-ir-howto.txt from our CVS server or homepage (http://www.gnokii.org/).
