The Linux-2.2.13-irdaX patches are _not_ official if that is what your
asking. They are just the Linux-2.3.X-irdaY snapshot converted to a patch
suitable for Linux-2.2. I don't have time to maintain both 2.2 and 2.3, so
this is my compromise. I will not do anything with Linux-IrDA for Linux-2.2
other than making these patches available. Instead I'm trying hard to make
Linux-IrDA for Linux-2.4 more idiot proof ;-)

PS. I gave up installing IrDA support at the machine my wife uses at
work. I gave her a HP Jornada 680 as a birthday present, but I never got
IrDA working with it using Win95. I guess it's not idiot proof either ;-)
