I think i have a hardware problem on my Sony Vaio PCG-F270. It can receive data from ny Visor (new Pilot clone from handspring) but can't send any data. I've made some try without any irda driver loaded, just using monicom on /dev/ttyS2 at 9600 and with PalmTelnet / IrLink 1.5 beta on the Visor side. When I type some letters on the Visor then apears in the minicom window but when I type somethimg in minicom nothing occurs on Visor side. I've test my Visor irda port with IR-Monitor and a remote control and everything works fine on this side. I've also try to monitor th ir output of my vaio but nothing seams to be output from the laptops's ir port. Is anyone know if this comme from the kernel not supporting corectly this port on the vaio or if there is something wrong with Sony's irda port (based on a 16650A on IRQ 10). I've check everithing (all the I/O and IRQ are good and are the same in BIOS and from dmesg report) Regards, Rodolphe -- ..../ Rodolphe Pineau ExOffice Technologies Inc. /. .../ Chief Information Officer /.. ../ T:(+01) 650 259 9796 / F:(+01) 419 828-0219 /... _______________________________________________ Linux-IrDA mailing list - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www4.pasta.cs.UiT.No/mailman/listinfo/linux-irda
