Hi everyone,
If you are keeping up with the latest kernels and patches you have
probably noticed that the toshoboe driver is giving out a lot of
repeated messages like:
ToshOboe: seting baud to 115200
last message repeated 277 times
The attached version (I called it 1.91 just to differentiate it from the
last 1.9 from James) stops this problem. It has worked for me over the
last day.
I am using kernel 2.2.13 with the patch irda7.
To use it: take a backup of toshoboe.c in
/usr/src/linux/drivers/net/irda and copy this version there.
>From /usr/src/linux run "make modules" then "make modules_install"
If this doesn't work for you go back to the other one.
PS I am not trying to take over from James <g>.
