On on Sony PCG-748 without any more than the phone himself (no PCCell
etc.) The IR device is an SMC. "Stable" kernel 2.2.13 under debian.
Everything is in the doc except that on /etc/irda/drivers I need
charge irattach /dev/ttyS2 AND /dev/ircomm.
Kermit and ppp work both fine. Better result with the phone away the
conputer and "on charge".
ps. For the joke : the customer support told me that there is a winmodem
in the cell-phone. But I was unable to run it under windows. huhu.
