I noticed your wrote some irda stuff for linux. I figured I would ask you a
question if you don't mind. Since you probably know irda quite well, I was
wondering. Is it possible to interface a regular TV or VCR remote control
with an irda compliant device such as my irda infrared port on my laptop?
What exactly happens when you do this? Would you simply receive some byte
codes corresponding to the infrared signal that was decoded?
