Hm, it appeared to be a problem with downloading the patch... I used Netscape 4.7 and Win98 to download the patch. In some magical way, the patch was unzipped automagically... and on a DOS system, that means that CRLF is used :-( This caused the problems with patch. After downloading the patch with a linux system, all problems disappeared!
