It's worth every cent!! I've managed to reach 378 Kbytes/s FTP over IrLAN
using the EthIR switch. No other LAN access point will bring you higher
than about 330-340 Kbytes/s. Even Linux <-> Linux is slower than Linux <->
EthIR switch ;-)
BTW: I've just tested the Extended Systems docking station, and it gives me
about 320 Kbytes/s using FTP over IrLAN. Haven't implemented the
keyboard/mouse protocol yet, but I'll do it if anybody else are using this
box.
