Hello

I have been searching the net (including this list)
for some time now i order to obtain information on
how to get the IR interface working on my Toshiba
notebook. The notebook i a Toshiba Satelite 4090XCDT
with a Toshiba-Oboe FIR chip.

So far so good. I have applied the latest IR-patches
to my kernel (2.2.14), compiled etc, and in
theory everything is OK.

The problem is that i can't syncronize my TRGpro.
When running irdadump I can watch the TRGpro
search for connection, but that's all. I have
tried PyOBEX and pilot-xfer, but without complete
success. Using pilot-xfer connected to /dev/ircommnew0
(I am using Debian Potato) the most i get is a
"Signal caught!" when connection is established
and then pilot-xfer dies, although the TRGpro thinks
it got connection and reports happily that it's
waiting for transfer ...

I have read all the documentation i have found. I have
looked at thoshoboe.c . I have even made mine own
updated Debian packages for python and irda-utils
to see if it would gain success.

Software: idra-utils 0.9.9
                pyton 1.5.2 with OBEX patch
                pyobex 0.2
