Hello all, I am wondering if anyone has tried to download video from a Sony digital camcorder through it's IR link. I have a Sony TRV-310E Digital 8 camera. As well as using it's IR port for remote control, you can also buy a set top box that sits on your tv and connects to your scart input. To play back the video to the television, you press a "laser link" button on the camera and point it at the tv without having to connect a cable every time.
