I've a Acer 510T and works Ok.
Check this:

APM works but you need a manual patch in kernel sources. Edit 
the file arch/i386/kernel/apm.c and change this line: 

1352c1352
< apm_bios_entry.offset = apm_bios_info.offset;
---
> apm_bios_entry.offset = apm_bios_info.offset & 0xffff;

without patch, kernel freeze at boot time. You can disable APM 
using option apm=off at lilo prompt.
