Hi all,
I am probably doing something stupid for a long time... But I can't get any
more my Psion S5 and my linux boxes talking by IrDA. Using irpsion5 -r, I am
able to transfer psion -> linux and it works quite well, but if I try linux ->
psion, the psion immediately reboots...

Using ircomm also leads to immediate reboot.

Anyway, it used to work without much trouble with one of the earliest patch
for kernel 2.2.13 (I can't remember which, I tried lots of them) and irda-utils
0.9.4 (or 0.9.5 ?). I have suspected some difficulties with my home setup
that changed at the same time as the kernel :-) (SMP with lots of strange
hardware), but at work it's the same on a simple machine :

* Parallax Litelink on standard 16550 port

* kernel 2.2.14-irda1 compiled for x86 (UP) (irda as a module, with no options,
no compression)

* irda-utils 0.9.10 (previously tried 0.9.7 with similar results)

After configuring the thing, I just type :
> irattach /dev/ttyS1 -d litelink
> irmanager -d 1
> irpsion5 -s bip.txt
Sending to Symbian EPOC
connect: Connexion r-initialise par le correspondant
>>>>>>> then psion Reboots !

I have an irdadump, if this could be useful
Thanks for any help,
