Hm. That's exactly what I did on the Toshiba Satellite Pro 4220 at work
(see archive for posting), and I've come so far:

- a Windows IrDA device recognizes the Toshiba
- with a linux IrDA device frames get exchanged (irdadump)

Do you get no frames at all ?

I don't get any IP connectivity, but I suspect I do something wrong
at the upper layers.
