You can use irpsion5 to transfer files to & from the shell on the Psion 5.

IrComm will set you up a virtual serial port to the Psion, over which
plptools will run (do Ctrl-L -- Infrared to set Psion to use IrComm), or
even ppp sessions.

If it's a 5mx, irobex will transfer vCards with the Contacts app, and
possibly files to the desktop.

Think that's most of it...
