By the way : I did forgot to set the "-s 1" option on the
irattach command line, which activate discovery. It might help, or
might not :-(

This is really weird. It seem that IrLAN doesn't send any data
on the link. By the way, I did suggest a log via irdadump to see what
the 2 stack exchange, this suggestion is still valid.
Also : I don't know what is the exact state of IrLAN, but with
Dag out of town, IrLAN is not going to improve in the short term. I
know for a fact (i.e. looking in the code) that IrLAN is not exactly
up to date with the latest changes in the rest of the IrDA stack.
Therefore, I would strongly advise you to play with
IrNET. This, I can guarantee I can make it working ;-)
