Alvin,
The first thing you need to do is compile your kernel to support USB,
There are howtos to step you through this at www.linux-usb.org.
You either need to install the 2.2 USB Backport or upgrade to the
development 2.4test kernel series. Once you have done thisn you can
then get usb up and running and as suggested by Roberto you can
see if the generic usb-serial driver will work with this device.
But once you get the usb enabled kernel running I can probally help you
find out whether this way will work or not.
