Hi all!

I am new to this list, so please excuse me if this is a stupid question...

Currently I try to work with a Canon BJC-50 Printer and an Apple PowerBook 1999
running LinuxPPC 2.2.17. I was able to transmit data to the printer, but
apparently the connection runs only at 9600 Baud ---extremely ssslllooowww. I
tried several stty commands, but without any result. The IR Howto (v. 2.11,
march 2000) seems a little outdated; I could not find and irda lpr stuff, but at
least ircomm and ircomm_tty work.

Could you give me some information how I could increase the speed for this
connection? Both the printer and the PowerBook claim that they are able to run
at at least 115200 Bd.

Thanks for any help,

        Albrecht.
