Has anyone hooked up the irda header built into a motherboard? I
have an Asus P2B-D. I think it has the winbond chip. The docs say
you must connect the "optional ir module", but I haven't found this
from Asus or any retailers.
There's a pin-out of the header, which is just 5V, GND, Tx, Rx. Looks
sorta like you're just supposed to hook up a photodiode & phototransistor.
Anyone have a clue? The IR-HOWTO has zero info on this.
