We have Linux (2.2.17) with FIR IRDA implemented. FIR driver is a load the module. We have program which will listen on IROBEX and I could sucessfully listern IROBEX using this program (AF_IRDA) from Palm. The FIR IRDA Driver work fine because we could able to listern OBEX packets from Plam.
Earlier we were running Extended jetEye on Serial port to listern IROBEX as well as PPP connection of Palm (/sbin/pppd /dev/ircomm 57600 ...).
After chaning to FIR, I don't know how we can get the functionalilty as PPP Client (Palm) accessing through IRDA to our Linux Box. According to our device driver developer claims that his driver works at Network device not like serial device.
Please let us know how I can procced further.
