In fact, yes. Because that's what one of the software guys did where I work (I
was on the Palm side). However, VB was too slow to handle 9600 baud when the
traffic was steady. Furthermore, the way windows handles interrupts, there was
no way to tell when a byte came in. We had to use our knowledge of the IrDA
stack to decode. But even with these (minor) short comings, it was extremely
useful. However, considering Alvin's response, I think I'd pursue that. Damn, I
wish I would've known about this a year ago!
