Hi,

ok, I managed to get a working discovery of my handy
and now I am stucked again...

IrDA logs all the time (debug-level2) with
'irda_device_is_receiving()' and
'irtty_receive_buf(jiffie-size or so)'

but between these messages there is also a
'irlap_state_ndm(), unknow event RECV_DISCOVERY_XID_RSP'
which imho starts the whole try-to-receive-procedure again.
What does this message mean??

I also get (when the modules are loaded) a
'irlap_state_query(), device is slow to answer, waiting...'
Thus I played with numbers 1-10 in /proc/net/irda/slot_timeout
- but without to get rid of it.

Please, please help!

For the IrDA and linus story:
My opinion is that this IrDA project has reached
a state where it is well-known enough to get in the
ditros anyway. I also crawled the module-code and I
(as a novice) found it well structured and documented.
So there is no reason to think that there are no people
outside which help make the patches as linus wants them
to be. And btw - who knows if the ac-tree will not be
an equal or better choice for mainstream linux people in
the future...
