[Linux-IrDA]ppp over ircomm0 problem

Hi,
I have a redhat 7 running on a pentium 2 366 with kernel 2.2.16-22
Siemens S35i.
When I use minicom to make a ppp connection, there is no reply from the
mobile phone.
It successfully instruct the mobile phone to dial the correct no but no
CONNECT reply
or what so ever.
