Im currently trying to get IRDA to work with my Notebook.
I have a Targa magnesium 800 with a PC97338 Chip from NSC with a HP2100
Dongle behind it (I disassembled my Notebook - so no mistakes here :))
If I try to load nsc-ircc it trys to set up dongle #5 ("Reserved", but
this is what the Thinkpad report - Comment from source). As I knew it is
a HP2100 I tryed to set it up with dongle_id=13, but this doesnt work
either.
There also different possible option in the BIOS for the NSC. This is
what happens with irattach/nsc-ircc if I run irdadump after I did
"echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/irda/discovery" with the different
possibilities.

So what can I do?

PS: I forgot, Im trying to discover my Siemens S25... (Yes, it worked
under Windows, which I now banned from my HD. - I used it to connect
to the internet)
