Hi there Running kernel 2.2.17 or 2.2.18pre18 on my i486 laptop, I sometimes get a kernel panic when I run irattach to start my irda connection. Using irda-utils-0.9.10. Compaq Contura 410C, 20Mb RAM, using Greenwich GIrBIL dongle, setting up for IRCOMM access for use with a mobile phone. Note this kernel panic happens sometime, but not every time... ...then it takes forever to fsck my hard disc as a result... Am I using the wrong version of irda-utils, and if so, which is the correct version?
