I am trying to connect my windows 2000 and linux machines, but they don' t
seem finish connecting. The wireless link comes up saying its connect at
9600. Then the irda status icon appears, saying connect at 9.6k. When I
run "ipconfig" the ip numbers that I assign for the irda connection show,
but on my linux box, the ppp0 interface is not brought up. The log file
says: Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/irnet
It seems like its trying to set it up, but just sits there. I am invoking
pppd the same as when I connect two linux machines. Is there any I am
forgetting to do, or need to do different under windows?
