ftp is pure streaming performance and the tcp windows should be enough
to half way saturate the irnet link. NFS is very "chatty" and needs
a request and an answer via UDP which causes the latency of the
irda link to be important which causes the link not to get saturated i
guess.
NFS is always a bad decision for low bandwith links.
