The Karma support in Amarok will most likely *not* work in OS X because no one AFAIK has ported the Linux USB support and filesystem over to that kernel, and the Amarok plugin only uses USB at this time (Andy, correct me if that's wrong). If you would like to work on the patches to add ethernet to OS X (by far the easiest route, IMO, even though it is a lot slower) to libkarma and to Amarok, it'd be welcome.
