Yeah, you are a bit ahead of me. I usually don't try out the new
kernels until rc4 or so. But the kmem_cache stuff is more or less
boilerplate, so you can look at the way that minix does it and that's
probably how I'll implement it for omfs, i.e.:
init_once loses the if() statement altogether, and while we're at it,
init_inodecache should gain SLAB_MEM_SPREAD.
I'll have a new omfs out later this week with this and the PPC build
fix.
Thanks a lot for the prompt reply, Bob! I usually don't try unbaked kernels
either, but 2.6.21 had some bugs for me and I keep trying to fix them. Glad
there is a quick fix on the horizon.
