Really, must be a wrong URL you posted then 8)

The average Linux kernel hacker right now is late 20's to early 30's with
a degree and working professionally on the kernel

(Its entertaining to go over the contents of MAINTAINERS now and 2 years ago
 and see who then and now is paid to work on Linux)
