I reviewed rostedt's patch and the following updates/accounting operations. I agree with rostedt's patch, and also agree that if (delta_exec == 0) it is a good idea to skip some += 0 and function calls of the next updates/accounting operations, before the if (dl_runtime_exeeded...).
