Nathan, Thanks for getting a build working! I think Ard is looking for the presence of symbols with `veneer` in the name. Something like `llvm-objdump -t vmlinux | grep veneer` or `llvm-nm vmlinux | grep veneer` should tell you if such symbols exist.
