The patch regulator: lm363x: Fix n_voltages setting for lm36274
has been applied to the regulator tree at https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/regulator.git for-5.4 All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted. You may get further e-mails resulting from automated or manual testing and review of the tree, please engage with people reporting problems and send followup patches addressing any issues that are reported if needed. If any updates are required or you are submitting further changes they should be sent as incremental updates against current git, existing patches will not be replaced. Please add any relevant lists and maintainers to the CCs when replying to this mail. Thanks, Mark >From 962f170d9344e5d9edb3903971c591f42d55e226 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Axel Lin <[email protected]> Date: Wed, 26 Jun 2019 21:26:32 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] regulator: lm363x: Fix n_voltages setting for lm36274 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit According to the datasheet http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm36274.pdf: Table 23. VPOS Bias Register Field Descriptions VPOS[5:0]: VPOS voltage (50-mV steps): VPOS = 4 V + (Code à 50 mV), 6.5 V max 000000 = 4 V 000001 = 4.05 V : 011110 = 5.5 V (Default) : 110010 = 6.5 V 110011 to 111111 map to 6.5 V So the LM36274_LDO_VSEL_MAX should be 0b110010 (0x32). The valid selectors are 0 ... LM36274_LDO_VSEL_MAX, n_voltages should be LM36274_LDO_VSEL_MAX + 1. Similarly, the n_voltages should be LM36274_BOOST_VSEL_MAX + 1 for LM36274_BOOST.
