Your perf tool command should look something like this:
perf stat --repeat 5 --sync --pre=/root/bin/pre-build-kernel.sh -- make -s -j9
LLVM=1 LLVM_IAS=1 bzImage
Also, needless to say, your box needs to not run anything else during
the measurement.
