It displays the information that is in the top 4 lines of the Makefile
used to build the kernel. If `uname` doesn't display information of
this type, you did not boot your newly-made kernel.

I was going to compile a list of innovations that could be
attributed to Microsoft. Once I realized that Ctrl-Alt-Del
was handled in the BIOS, I found that there aren't any.
