As a general thing I think DEPRECIATED would be useful for the case where there is a newer functional driver.
I guess a "DEPRECIATED" driver is one where the code is written off linearly
over a 7 year period. ;) I assume you mean DEPRECATED, not DEPRECIATED, here.
