also use -C1 instead of -M, then the patch to init/Kconfig looks exactly
the same (deleting 231 lines and adding a "source" line), while the
patch to init/Kconfig.expert goes from adding 231 lines to copying
init/Kconfig and deleting 1800 lines.

That does not seem like an improvement.
