Proposed by and based on a patch from Eric Dumazet <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
This patch removes unnecessary critical section in ksize() function, as cli/sti are rather expensive on modern CPUS. It additionally adds a docbook entry for ksize() and further simplifies the code.
