As usual - get the BogoMIPS from /proc/cpuinfo and multiply that number
by CPU dependant factor. For most of the R4xxx and R5000 CPUs with the
5 stage pipeline that factor is 1. For the R4000 and R4400 it's 2.
Also the CPU clock on some of the older chips like the 50MHz R4000 is
the external clock feed into the CPU. The internal clock is twice as
high, so it's not always too easy ...
