Yeah, but we don't know why. And we may very well be covering a different bug if we just take it as-is. Don't get me wrong, I have no objection to have this if it's needed, but we shouldn't do this just "because it works". So I'll try to look at the logs you provided a bit more later, but the main questions I have are: 1. How come power off+on works for you in the first time, but doesn't work in the second time ? 2. Was the card really powered off in this 2nd-time failed scenario ? 3. what if you do a series of insmod+rmmod ? does this work ? (power should be taken down and up every time) 4.
