dosemu -dumb (aka dos -I 'video{none}') is the easiest in this respect,
if you don't need graphics etc, for redirected output.

For redirected input, indeed you have keystrokes. For some reason the
normal input redirection does not seem to work.

I'm not sure why -- section 12 of README.txt tells us it should be
possible, but I don't have the time now to investigate why not.
