The "out of memory error" is likely a red herring. My floppy works fine and I get the same error if I try to access it without a floppy in the drive. I would suggest you try copy files to your floppy from linux first.

Dear colleague,

I have installed dosemu-1.2.0-1.i386.rpm on my RH 8.0 machine. I use it for bookkeeping program that is written for DOS.

I have one very strange problem with floppy drive while running dosemu.
Actually, it happens that when trying to read from floppy while in dosemu
prompt c:\ it shows on screen the following error:

Error reading from drive a: DOS area: sector not found
(A)bort, (I)gnore, (R)etry, (F)ail?
whenI press Abort
it prompts with:
out of memory error

It is significant that it actually have not tried to communicate with floppy which normally works under Linux. Do you have any idea how I can solve this problem.?

Thanks,
