Doing an strace I see a lot of SIGALRM which, I presume, are waking it up all the time. Could it be?
Yes. For the apps that do the polling in a tight loop, this doesn't hurt however, as they'll fall asleep again immediately. Clipper calls the interrupts that sleep, very infrequently, that's why SIGALRM makes it difficult to release the CPU in that case. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-msdos" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
