Have you tried it ? I have to say that I don't think it would work, but
more because I don't think that DOS would cope, rather than because DOSEMU
would have a problem. I also can't see any reason for wanting to do this.
I *don't* propose to test this -- I don't have any data to lose if it goes
wrong.
However, LREDIR will let you do this if you have the drive mounted under
linux -- and I have tested this! If you gave direct access to the drive
under DOSEMU then you might also manage to make SUBST work as well.
