Hi all

I'm using lpd to send Linux prints to an HP Laserjet connected to an NT
server, which is working fine.

However, when I print "man" pages, they come out unreadable because the man
print processor puts print into bold by sending the characters twice with a
backspace in between.

Does anyone know where this gets changed on man version 1.5b. I looked at
the manual page for man and it says that /etc/man.conf is the configuration
file. I changed the print processor lines to:-

TROFF /usr/bin/groff -Tlj4 -mandoc
NROFF /usr/bin/groff -Tascii -P-u -P-b

Certainly the second line should skip the underlines and backspaces, but
there seems to be no effect. You can't have a filter on a remote printer,
and NT certainly doesn't give any assistance. Any ideas?
