I am having a really wierd problem here.  Here is the routing table from my Linux 
2.1.123 router:

27.19.254.224 27.19.254.40  255.255.255.252 UG        0 0          0 eth1
27.19.254.228 27.19.254.37  255.255.255.252 UG        0 0          0 eth1
27.19.254.232 27.19.254.43  255.255.255.252 UG        0 0          0 eth1

0.0.0.0         10.1.1.9        0.0.0.0         UG        0 0          0 eth0

This is the problem.  A host was connected to the ethernet and assigned 27.19.254.47.
This works for about 45 minutes or so.  When it stops working, I can still ping that 
address from this router
but not from a machine outside of this network.  However, the outside machine can 
still ping 
other hosts on that network, ie 27.19.254.41 is still reachable from the outside.  
I've tried deleting
the arp cache on this router but that does not fix the problem.  The only way to fix 
the problem
seems to be to reboot either the client machine or the router, and then the fix only 
lasts about 45 minutes.  Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
