I'm not able to ping from either machine of my 2 host setup. The network consists of 1 NT workstation (sp3, linksys 10/100, 10.0.0.254) and RH 5.1(3com 509b, 10.0.0.2). If I do a net view on NT it see's the linux box running samba. I just got it to show up in the network nieghborhood. I would appreciate any advise and thanks in advance! This shows up in the event viewer: The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer BUDDHA that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_LNE100TX4. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.
